Organiser's Description

The Aldbury Triathlon is slightly unconventional in that the opening swim is replaced by a 2000m row on a stationary rowing machine. The cycle leg is 27k and the closing run is 5k and nearly all off-road. And, just to reinforce the fact that this is an event that's a little out of the ordinary, the venue is Nettleden Lodge, a truly exceptional 17th century Tudor house nestled in the picturesque and peaceful Golden Valley in Hertfordshire. Surrounded by 13 acres of glorious countryside, beautiful rural fields and forests and with its own lake, Nettleden Lodge provides a stunning backdrop for the event.
