Brilliant even in rain. Well organised and such a fun route. People cheering you on all the way and bands playing! This year was reduced numbers so I can't imagine how busy it is normally - the crowd really keep you going and are there even out in the countryside! Sensible and efficient water stations and a really clear procedure and order of event. Lovely marshalls and brilliant atmosphere even in the rain! Hope to be back.

Beautiful. Watch this one as it has been cancelled in previous years due to snow. This is a start to finish super packed fast and flat course. Great start area between the Georgian Bathstone town houses, where you are placed in pens. At the finish you are funnelled off into a stadium to collect your medal and drinks etc. Don't forget to work out where your finish/medal photo will be as there are some great photo opportunities. Book a hotel until after lunch for a shower after if you are travelling. Car parking is chargeable and some distance away.

Loved it. The atmosphere, spectators , the course, everything was great. The only thing I did not like was that course (in the first lap) was so crowded that I couldn't run at my normal pace and had to slow down. I also got elbowed a few times as I was running past people (due to it being crowded, not because people were ruthless about being overtaken :P)

Good Race but.... Really enjoyed the race and the support from spectators was both amazing and moving. I appreciate there is a confined space for the Runners Village, but it wasn’t a great experience. Entrances need martialling sontjere is flow for people going in and people going out. Also, it may be better to only allow runners in the runners village. Move the meeting points outside the village - they were useless given they were sat in the middle of the queues for baggage reclaim. A good event and a good experience on the course.

Great fun, great run, well organised. This was my biggest race to date. Everything was fab, but the entrances to the runners village meant there was a huge amount of congestion so I seriously underestimated the amount of time needed to get through. The early part of the course was marked with traffic cones, and as the course was very congested at this point it was tricky to run. I saw a lady trip over one of the cones and fall over, thankfully she was ok when I stopped to help her. The marshals were great and the spectators were absolutely fantastic, huge kudos to them. Great goody bag after. I appreciate the tips are recycled but it would be good to have an option to not have a post run T-shirt. Can’t wait to run it next year!
