Organiser's Description

After a successful debut in 2022 we return to the fast and flat surroundings of Battersea Park in 2023. With all races starting and finishing uniquely on the track at the Battersea Park Millennium Arena, The Battersea Park Run Fest offers a great experience running around the lake, carriage drives, bandstand and pathways. Plus with 10km, 5km and 3km distances, and the Kids Dash, there is something for everyone, including the children.

This will be a Chip timed event, with a bespoke Medal and refreshments at the finish. The overall top 3 male and female finishers for each distance will be awarded trophies, as well as the following age group categories for the 10k only:

40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Age categories are based upon age at day of race. Top three finishers will be excluded from age category prizes.

Finish times will be based upon gun time.

Our running events appeal to all abilities - from social runners taking the plunge into their first race, to some of the best local athletes. We strive to create an environment where all runners
are encouraged to achieve their personal goals, no matter what their ability.

I enjoyed the event in general, especially the location.  The organization process was pretty decent. No delays, no misunderstandings, and a sufficient amount of staff and medics. There was a possibility of using the toilets and changing rooms of the arena. Water in plastic glasses and some snacks (sort of healthy cacao bar and several types of jellies) were located at the beginning and the end of the race, which was the same place. There were a lot of other non-competition runners in the park but you could avoid the collision due to the wide racing track.  The track itself is flat and pleasant to run to.  The results were available on the website almost instantly.
