Get ready for a hauntingly good time at the Beacon to Beacon Halloween Run organised by RunAble! Taking place on Thursday 31st October 2024 in Halifax, West Yorkshire, this thrilling Halloween adventure will see participants run from Castle Hill Huddersfield to Beacon Hill above Halifax, covering a distance of approximately 10 miles. Expect to traverse through haunted trails, participate in a fancy dress contest, and celebrate your achievement with a medal and optional hoodie or t-shirt. Welcome to the Spooktacular Beacon to Beacon Halloween Run!
Are you ready for a hauntingly good time?
Join us for a thrilling Halloween adventure like no other: run from Castle Hill Huddersfield to Beacon Hill above Halifax, prepare for an eerie and exhilarating experience!
- Castle Hill, Huddersfield: you begin their race from the iconic Castle Hill, with its ancient ruins and ghostly tales.
- Register 18:00 to 18:30 at Beacon Hill, Halifax then at 18:30 bus will take you to Castle Hill for your start as soon as we arive.
In a nut shell... Register at your finish point then we bus you to the start.
Distance: Approximately 10 miles
Route: Route choice is entirely yours, shortest posible route is 9.02 miles in either direction
Highlights:
- Haunted Trails: Traverse through dark, scenic routes filled with Halloween surprises, bonfire night just around the corner so expect some fun along the way.
- Fancy Dress Contest: Dress in your most creative or frightening costume for a chance to win spooky prizes.
- Finish Line Mementos: Celebrate your achievement with a medal, optional hoodie or t-shirt
- Spot Prizes: Our team will be out at a couple of what we believe are key passing points with spot prizes

CASH PRIZE POT*
1st Male / Female £45 each (+£20 for setting course record 2024)
2nd Male / Female £35 each
3rd Male / Female £25 each
Best fancy dress £25 (one prize to be shared either by solo winner or team winners)
2025 Onwards.
Break course record £20 bonus (this is 2025 onwards, can only be taken by first place, plus you obviusly take first place cash)
