Belvoir Castle Triathlon - Multi Sport Weekend

Triathlon / Aquathlon / Aquabike:
The transition area is nestled in the grounds looking up to the grand Belvoir Castle.


The Lake Swim: The open water swim takes place in a calm lake at the foot of the Estate with sights up to the castle, the swim is a multi lap swim. The swim is also perfect for those new to open water triathlon as you're never too far away from the lakes edge or your supporters. All competitors will be placed in start wave groups which will be confirmed closer to the date of the event.


Bike: All distances (other than the Super Sprint) is a multi-lap course with a challenging undulating profile through the idyllic vale of Belvoir villages. There are one or two sharp and gradual inclines that prove a good test of mental, physical strength and determination but you will be well rewarded with a route of discovery through quaint villages and quiet country roads.

The Super Sprint bike leg is one undulating lap.


Run: Feel the history of the land and be surrounded by ancient trees adorning your run, finishing with a scenic multi-lap run on tarmac roads around the estate running up to the Castle itself and then onto your Finish with the Castle creating a momentous backdrop for your free Finishers Photo download.


HM / 10k / 5k:
The Start Line is nestled in the epic estate's grounds looking up to the grand Belvoir Castle. Surrounded by ancient trees and pretty landmarks, the course will take you out of the estate with a scenic run along roads through quaint country villages. You will then return to finish your run on the roads of the estate and onto the epic finish line with views up to the castle. This will create a truly momentous backdrop for your free finishers photo!


X Triathlon: Traffic Free! lake swim/mtb bike/trail run all with the estate grounds
New for 2025, this popular and accessible event format. Lake swim followed by an off road mountain bike TRAFFIC FREE course with spectacular views of the estate, finish with a iconic trail run with magnificent over the Belvoir Estate.

↠ Start times are based on your estimated swim time starting with the slowest swim times.

↠ The swim will be in the estate’s lake.

↠ Laps of the lake will be confirmed nearer the time judging the water levels.

↠ Competitors need to be in the swim holding area 15 mins before your start time changed & ready to collect your timing chip.

↠ The swimmers around you will be of a similar standard and you will be in a wave of no more than 25 people.

↠ You will be told which direction to swim in, on entering the lake. On completion of your laps (tbc - depending on water levels), exit from the Ramp/Pontoon marked Swim Out.

↠ There will be no changing facilities. Follow the signs for the transition area (this is a 350m run on grass) and find you bike.

↠ The surface is grass and will be cleared and checked for sharp objects but if you want to wear shoes for this section then place your shoes around Swim Exit.

IMPORTANT - As part of our T&C's No refund or transfer will be given if the timings of the day are changed and as a result you are no longer able to make your event. Timings will not change drastically from the schedule here.

At Endorphin Sport Events, we do not impose cut off times as we understand the pressure it can put you under and we'd rather you enjoy the scenery and enjoy your event! This means you will receive an official time regardless.

↠ In addition, it is at our discretion as the event organiser to consider the safety of all entrants, if we feel you are continuing at the detriment to your health or safety we may call it a day on your behalf.
