Bike4Bart Meon Valley

Portsmouth, Hampshire

Andrew Simpson Watersports Centre, Portsmouth

Sat 27th April 2019

Organiser's Description

This cyclosportive, to be held from the Watersports Centre in Portsmouth, aims to help increase participation in sport and promote health and wellbeing to all. There are three great routes, all with their individual challenges. All three head North, towards the first steady climb of Portsdown Hill, from where they meander through the Meon Valley. Stunning villages fly past as you venture deeper into Hampshire, and a descent that leaves you on the edge of your seat, down to the small village of Warnford.

The ride back towards Portsmouth snakes past more beautiful places and follows the River Itchen back to its source at New Cheriton. From here you make your way to the final climb of the day back up over Portsdown Hill, and the descent back to the venue, where you will be greeted with a medal and a beer! There is more than enough on the Bike4Bart route to keep all levels of cyclists excited and challenged.
