2024 Cancer Research UK London Winter Run

Organiser's Description

The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run is a 10k challenge through the heart of the capital, passing world famous landmarks, and instantly recognisable environments. During your run you will pass a number of larger than life winter characters, and live music performances, making this an unforgettable journey for runners of all abilities.

Since its first edition in 2015 it has proved hugely popular, receiving critical acclaim, and even sprouting a special summer edition in 2021.

The event is delivered in partnership with Cancer Research UK, and has already seen over 100,000 people take part and over 4 million raised for life-saving cancer research.

Delighted runners have given the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run incredible reviews, with many returning annually to collect the latest edition of the much acclaimed finisher medal. Due to the pandemic a Virtual Winter Run was held in February 2021, using state-of-the-art technology to track and reward runners with gifts for running and fundraising. It resulted in over 10,000 people taking part, and raising over £800,000 for Cancer Research UK.

After an amazing event in 2023 with over 15,000 taking part, the next edition will take place on Sunday 25th February 2024. You can expect many of your favourite features and creatures to return, plus some new surprises!
