Chirk Triathlon & Aquathlon

This exhilarating event will take place on Sunday, April 12th, 2026, in the picturesque setting of Wrexham, Chirk. Athletes of all levels are invited to participate in the Sprint Triathlon, which features a 400m swim in the Chirk Leisure Centre’s pool, followed by a scenic 14.5-mile (23km) cycle through the charming countryside, including stunning views around Pontfadog and Glyn Ceiriog. Rounding off this thrilling race is a 5k run along closed country roads, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

For those who prefer a splash and dash, the Sprint Aquathlon offers the same invigorating 400m swim and a 5k run, providing a fantastic opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills.
