Where does the race start and finish?

King George V Park, Rayleigh, Essex. Enter the park via the Websters Way or Bull Lane entrances.

What time does the race start?

The 5K and 10K races will start at 9:00am. Participants are advised to arrive between 8:15am and 8:30am to allow plenty of time for parking, registration, and warm-up before the start.

Is the route closed to traffic?

Yes, the event takes place on a fully closed-road route.

Will the race be chip timed?

Yes, professional chip timing will be provided for all participants, with results published after the event.

Will finishers receive a medal?

Yes, all finishers receive a bespoke Community RunFest Rayleigh medal.

Are there water stations and medical support?

Water stations, marshals, and first aid support will be available throughout the event.

Are toilets available?

Toilet facilities will be available within King George V Park.

Is parking available nearby?

There is a public car park adjacent to King George V Playing Field at Websters Way Car Park, which offers free parking all day on Sundays.

When will race packs be issued?

All entries received up to Sunday 21st June at 11:59pm will have race packs posted out. Anyone entering from 22nd June onwards will need to collect their race pack on event day from the Registration Team.

Can I transfer my entry or receive a refund?

Entry fees are non-refundable once an entry has been confirmed, except in exceptional circumstances at the organiser’s discretion. Entries are personal to each participant and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged. Any unauthorised transfer may result in disqualification from the event.

Is the race suitable for beginners?

Absolutely, Community RunFest Rayleigh welcomes runners of all abilities, whether you’re chasing a PB or taking part for fun.
