Organiser's Description

Starting from the Downs School, Compton, Berkshire, the is a scenic 20 mile route with 2200 feet of ascent, with spectacular views across the Thames Valley and Chiltern Hills to the ancient Ridgeway Path through the Berkshire Downs. The terrain is mainly footpaths, tracks and bridleways (which can all be fairly muddy) with some short, almost traffic free, road sections linking them.
