How To Get There

By car: Due to very limited parking options in the start and finish area, and since many of the City's streets will be closed, we recommend using public transport as far as possible.

If you are obliged to take the car, we recommend parking in the outskirts of Copenhagen and using public transport in from there. Be aware of race day road closures and redirections.

By public transport: S-trains, Metro and regional trains stop very close to the start and finish area, and the operation is not affected by the marathon race. Several buses also stop close to Islands Brygge, but some bus lines are closed on the race day. You can read about all changes in bus traffic on dot.dk before the race day.

The closest stations are:

  • S-train: Dybbølsbro st./Fisketorvet or Copenhagen Central Station
  • Metro: Islands Brygge st.
  • Other trains: Copenhagen Central Station

In order to be sure of your trip, we recommend planning your route on reisplanen.dk , which is always updated with the latest traffic information.
