On Sunday, July 31, 2022, participants will gather at the picturesque Emberton Country Park in Olney, Milton Keynes, to take on the thrilling Cowman, Calfman, and Stampede triathlon events. This year, we’re excited to introduce Aquabike distances, providing even more options for competitors.
Athletes will dive into the crystal-clear lake adjacent to the sailing club for the swim, followed by scenic bike routes—two laps for the Cowman, one for the Calfman, and a shorter lap for the Stampede. Runners will enjoy a beautiful course that circles the lake, featuring both on- and off-road sections. With a mass start planned (subject to any COVID-19 protocols), this event promises to be a memorable experience for all. Each participant will receive a unique eco-friendly wooden medal, and there will be opportunities to purchase stylish T-shirts and Hoodies. We are delighted to be back on the Sunday 31st July 2022 for the Cowman, Calfman and Stampede triathlon events at the stunning venue of Emberton Country Park.
**New to 2022, is the Cowman, Calfman and Stampede Aquabike distances!
The swim takes place in the lake adjacent to the sailing club, with the bike course heading out around the local area (2 laps for Cowman, 1 lap for Calfman, short lap for the Stampede), and the run course circulating the lake featuring both on- and off-road sections (4 laps for Cowman, 2 laps for Calfman, 1 lap for the Stampede).
This event will be taking place with a mass start unless otherwise stated due to the COVID-19 measures at the time.
All athletes will receive a bespoke eco-friendly wooden medal with the option of purchasing a T-shirt and/or a Hoodie too!
