A small, well organised race, with a good personal touch; the bell rang for the final lap for each runner and you were individually clapped over the finish line, whilst your time was shouted and confirmed - really appreciated! I thought 7 laps of the lake would be tough but actually it was great as you could switch off. Easy surface to run on, mainly paved, a touch of grass and a wooden bridge or two. The turns were marked on the floor, you really couldn’t go wrong, would I do it again… yes as I got a PB and I rather liked the smaller numbers of people, really friendly 😊
Congratulations on your run Michele & indeed on your shiny new PB. It was great to see you & glad you hear your enjoyed the event. Thank you got your kind words - Foxy
