Delamere Forest Night Runner

Northwich, Cheshire

7 Churchfields, Sandiway, Northwich CW8 2JS, UK

Sat 28th October 2017

Organiser's Description

Round 1 of the Petzl Night Trail Running Race Series takes place at Delamere Forest. The 10k course consists of three loops which encompass Blakemere Moss, the notorious nettle warrior, then up Pale Heights before dropping back down to the finish. The course is a mixture of gravel and trail path, and can be wet and muddy. It's relatively flat with only one significant hill at the end, but, don't expect it to be too easy, it is challenging and rolling and tough enough to test any runner. There is also a 1km Trail Kids night time event to get the young ones involved. Fancy dress is actively encouraged and the theme for Delamere is 'Spooky Halloween'.
