How far is the race?
You decide! The 3.5-mile off-road loop means your race can be 5k or even over 80K and anywhere in between. You decide how many laps you're going to do on the day within the 6-hour time limit. If you're looking to cover a marathon distance you'll need to complete 7 laps (+ a little out and back) and a half marathon will be 3 laps (+ an out and back).

It was a great event, I really enjoyed myself (dispite the freezing temperatures and my frozen hands🥶). It was my first time doing a great bear run, it was very well organised, friendly organizers, a beautiful scenic course through the woods, an array of snacks and drinks to keep you going and being able to get a massage at any point from the sports massage students was an added bonus! I will be back 😁 Thank you
