Join us for the vibrant Frome Triathlon 2026, hosted by the Frome Triathlon Club on Sunday, July 19, 2026, in the picturesque town of Frome, Somerset. This welcoming Sprint Distance Triathlon is perfect for athletes of all levels, featuring a 400m pool swim, a scenic 23km bike ride through the stunning Somerset and Wiltshire countryside, and a 5km run on a mix of roads and tracks. Whether you're a seasoned triathlete or a first-timer, the Frome Triathlon promises an exhilarating experience, complete with a relay option for those who prefer to race as a team.
Race HQ will be located at the Frome Sports and Fitness Centre, offering excellent facilities for both participants and spectators. Expect an electric atmosphere at the finish line, filled with cheering crowds, lively music, and delicious food. To help you prepare, we’ll also be offering a familiarisation session for the bike route closer to the event. As a British Triathlon Federation event, participants will need a BTF race pass, so be sure to check your membership details ahead of time. It was my first sprint triathlon in Frome and it was a great experience. it was really well organised; good layout; and well-managed - a huge thank you to all the volunteers who gave your time to facilitate the event. It was lovely to have local people cheering us all on, and to have encouragement from the person on the mic! The only thing we would have loved to have was a mobile coffee van for spectators if it were possible; my parents would've bought several teas and coffees despite the hot weather!
