Stunning scenery and fascinating monastic history make this an experience not to be missed. Glendalough valley was carved out by glaciers during the Ice Age, which formed the two lakes from which Glendalough – “glen of two lakes” - gets its name. Spring fed waters, oak lined banks and the Wicklow Mountains, with 750m, 1.5k, and 3.9k (Sunday) distances to choose from, the Glendalough Swim has something for everyone. 6/7 Sept.
