Enjoyable event. This was the first time for GO TRI and I was most impressed by how it was run. The marshals we're brilliant as they cheered everyone on, and made it so enjoyable. Thank you so much.
Super friendly introductory event. The volunteers were all so friendly, even around the course every one including some of the other competitors were cheering us newbies on. There was plenty of parking and the courses were both well sign posted and reasonably flat- very welcoming to first timers!
Only downside was as usual there were a couple of older fellas who took it way too seriously and in the cycle phase one passed me so close I felt the fabric of his shirt brush me, in a single file lane (which was just around a tight corner of maybe 10 meters) with out calling which nearly sent me flying. He did the same again on a straight piece of road!? If the organisers weren’t so friendly this would be hugely off putting. Every other person who passed called out they were passing and left loads of room so maybe just one rogue with bad manners?
All in all would definitely go back.
