Great setting for the start & finish. Fantastic organisation. Quite a walk from the Palace entrance to the event village and bag drop, then back to the entrance for the start. So allow plenty of time. First 5km is a lovely Thames tow path to Kingston. Second 5km is cross country across parkland and quite slippy in November.

Really well organised and beautiful route along the river and Home Park. Great atmosphere. Thank you to all involved and the marshals cheering us all on. Especially the lovely lady that walked with me as I hobbled over the line when something popped on the last 100m!

Excellent, from the people directing you to the village, start etc to the Marshall's on the course to the finish. It was a very enjoyable morning, fantastic and I met Henry 8th who looked good for his age!

Nice run, but you don't really spend much time around the palace, most of the run is by the river or in fields near the palace. Also the final 200m is on quite loose gravel which isn't very grippy if you're trying to do a sprint finish. It was well organised overall though, and the medal is enormous and pretty.

Loved this event - well-organised and a lovely atmosphere at the finish line / the event village. (My only gripe would be the number of 'hard' right-angled corners on the run which interrupted the flow of running - but that's minor compared to how enjoyable the whole event was.)
