What happens once I've entered?

Once you have entered one of our events, you will receive an email confirming your entry with some general information. In the days leading up to the event, you will receive your event notes as well as the route GPX file. All the information you will need to know about your event will be within those race notes, from start times and your race number to registration and course logistics.

What type of bike should I ride?

You can ride whichever bike you want, but a road bike will be ideal and much better suited for the route.

What happens if I have a technical issue with my bike?

We’ll have a team of bike mechanics from Planet X at the start/finish area and at various points along the route. please bring various spares with you so you can be as self-sufficient in case anything happens. Your bike should be in good working order – the mechanics can only help with small issues and not a full bike service.

What do I need to bring on the day?

Helmet First Aid kit Bike Repair Essentials Waterproof Jacket Appropriate Clothing for the conditions on the day Water and Nutrition Mobile Phone – with the race directors number in it (won’t be available until the event briefing)

When will I receive the GPX file?

Our event team will ride the route in the week leading up to the event to check for any issues with the route, and you’ll receive the GPX files in the week leading up to the event.

What is the cancellation and transfer policy?

The entry fee is non-refundable – but we understand that you may need to withdraw or transfer your entry. Our transfer and withdrawal policy is strictly adhered to, and no exceptions are made for illness, injury or pregnancy. Please provide your full name, the event entered and order number. Entry Fees are non-refundable. Notification over 30 days before the event date – 100% of your entry fee will be issued via a credit note valid for 2 years. Notification over 10 days before the event date – 50% of your entry fee will be issued via credit note valid for 2 years. Notification 10 days and less before the event date – we operate a strict no refund or transfer policy. If a participant withdraws from an event and uses a credit note as payment, a credit will only be reimbursed to the original use-by date. The organisers reserve the right to alter the format of an event without prior notice should the need arise.
