Join us for the Humber Bridge Half Marathon on Sunday 23rd March! This mostly road-closed route, starting at Hessle High School, is an undulating course that heads out onto the iconic Humber Bridge, onto closed roads around Barton-upon-Humber before returning back over the bridge to the finish.
This is a great route for new and experienced runners alike and with RunThrough you can expect a friendly team of marshals to help guide you round the course and cheer you on to the finish, a lively and well-serviced event village with plenty of food and drink options including excellent warm coffee and free goodies from our partners at the finish line after your hard effort.
Please note there is a 3 hour cut off on this race due to road closures in place

All in all a great event. Well organised and was very smooth. A few smaller issues. Stated there was no dogs allowed in the area however saw many dogs around. Personally not overly bothered but can see others bringing it up.
At the first drinks station as I was approaching an older couple were walking towards the drinks completely blocking my access to the water. Can't help that but had I not shouted they wouldn't have moved. The marshalls didn't shout to move which they could have done.
Other than that it was a great event and thank you to all the volunteers who make the event happen.
