Run a 10k in London's most iconic park, where millions of runners have smashed unforgettable training runs and races for decades.

With its smooth tarmac pathways passing by the famous Serpentine Lake and legendary monuments, you'll be carried by the awe of history around you as you notch up kilometre after kilometre. In the shadow of Buckingham Palace, Marble Arch, Wellington Arch and Knightsbridge, you'll run alongside the World-famous Park Lane and through the lush green space of this jewel of all the Royal Parks.

Always a sell-out and attracting a range of runners, you'll find yourself amongst those of a similar pace to help drive you to a brilliant race result and an unbeatable finish line feeling. Everyone should be able to say they've run Hyde Park - once, twice, or maybe 100 times! Get another great run committed to your record books.

What's Included

Medals: All finishers will receive a medal on completing the race.

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three runners overall and the top runner in each of the veteran categories

Chip timed

Bag Drop: Whilst we recommend bringing as little as possible, you can leave your belongings with us while you race using the tear-off baggage strip on your race number, collecting after you finish by presenting your race number.

Toilets: There are toilets opposite the Bandstand for use throughout the event that require a 20p coin.

Race Marshals: Marshals will be present on the course throughout the race.

Distance Markers: The route will be clearly indicated with arrows, tape and Km markers where necessary.

Water Stations: There will be a water station at the finish, also passed on the first lap, at which water will be provided in recyclable plastic cups.

Goody Bag: All runners will receive a goody bag on finishing the race.

Refreshments: Refreshments will be available at the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen throughout the event.

Course Details

The course consists of 2 laps on mostly tarmac pathway, there are some parts with gravel that can be loose underfoot, and is suitable for runners of all abilities. Please always be vigilant of other runners, spectators, dogs, cyclists and other users of public footpaths and rights of way.

Spectators: Spectators can watch from anywhere on the course and will see runners pass twice wherever they are situated.

Pacers: Pacers will not be offered at this race.

Buggies/Pushchairs: This race is suitable for runners with buggies/pushchairs.

Wheelchair Users: This race is suitable for wheelchair users.

Other Information

Changing/Showers: There are no changing rooms or showers at this event.

Lost Property: Lost property from an event will be kept for one month. If unclaimed, or ownership cannot be determined, lost property items will be donated to charity.

T-shirts are available for purchase during the order process and, subject to availability, at the race for £8 (cash only). Please note that pre-purchased T-shirts must be collected at one of the races listed in the product description and will not be available for collection at any other events.
