Organiser's Description

Expect terrible routes that will have you shouting "I'm a runner get me out of here!" This event has 10k, half marathon, marathon and ultra options. Obstacles are along the route where you have an option to collect stars, which will upgrade your medal. Obstacles include water and live insects - they are not compulsory and are not to difficult to complete. There are also side trials where you can collect stars, but again not compulsory. You do not need to complete trials or obstacles, you can simply run around the course. However to collect stars, you will need to!

All obstacles are suitable for all runners. All races are lapped off road runs on grass or trail paths. The Show Field, Salwick Road, Wharles, Preston.

Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Medal, dependent on stars collected

Free car parking is available

Collect your chip, race number and star collection bag at registration

Around the lap run route you will have opportunities to collect stars and place them in your bag. At the finish you will count the stars to determine which medal you receive

Bronze Medal - up to 10 stars

Silver Medal - 11 to 30 stars

Gold Medal - 31 to 50 stars

Platinum Medal - 51 plus stars

Race starts at 10am. However, you can start anytime after that! You have 9 hours to complete (all distances) from 10am

These races are open to all running abilities

Drink and feed stations are available around the course

Final runner Instructions and route map will be emailed out 14 days before the event.
