Fancy a beautiful course through scenic Spanish island villages and sweeping ocean views? The Balearic island of Mallorca is not only a training paradise for triathletes from around the World, but is also host to one of the largest IRONMAN 70.3 events in the World, the Zafiro IRONMAN 70.3 Alcúdia-Mallorca. A fast course in magnificent sunny Mallorca, this race has been a global favourite for over a decade.
The one-loop swim starts on the white sand beach in Port d’Alcúdia. Its unique location surrounded by mountains makes it a fantastic spot for a race start. The bike course takes athletes up to the Lluc Sanctuary and across some of the inland emblematic towns such as Caimari, Sa Pobla and Muro, before heading back to Port d’Alcúdia. The three-loop run is a flat course along the wonderful Alcúdia Bay. The finish line is located on the beach area, about 50 meters away from the swim start.
