This thrilling event kicks off at the stunning Barbury Castle country park, taking participants along the Wessex Ridgeway to Avebury. Runners will then complete a short loop outside Avebury before making their way back to Barbury for a well-deserved medal and cheers from the crowd. The 100% off-road trail route provides a firm footing, with a chance to tackle a few muddy puddles along the way. Don't miss out on this exciting and scenic half marathon experience!
Organiser's Description
The run starts at the Barbury Castle country park then heads along the Wessex Ridgeway to Avebury. A short loop just outside Avebury is followed by the return to Barbury for medals and rapturous applause. The route is 100% off-road trail, which is firm underfoot, but there will almost certainly be a muddy puddle or two to enjoy!
