This unique event takes place in the picturesque town of Marlow, Buckinghamshire, and is the only long-distance race in the Thames Valley. Athletes will enjoy a stunning 1900m swim in the tranquil waters of the River Thames, designed to ensure a fast swim split for participants of all skill levels. Following the swim, competitors will tackle an exciting 85.6km bike course, featuring a popular three-lap route that showcases the breathtaking scenery of Marlow and its surroundings. Organiser's Description
The Marlow Classic Half Iron Distance is the only long distance event in the Thames Valley, a fairly flat scenic course taking in the views of Marlow and the surrounding areas. The swim is a 1900m one lap course in the River Thames and is designed to make even the weakest swimmer get a fast swim split. The bike course is 85.6km with a very popular 3 lap course on the far end of the route.
