This is the 11th year for this multi sport event with a swim in the River Thames. The event has attracted 1000s of participants over the years; it is open to all abilities and first time triathletes are encouraged to take part.
The swim course is designed to make even the weakest swimmer get a fast time. The Olympic bike course is undulating, but it is fast; the sprint is an out and back with just a couple of hills, but is otherwise fast and flat. The run is on tarmac and grass footpaths, which meanders towards Marlow and back to the finish at Higginson Park from the tow path.
