Organiser's Description
This is a great solo or team experience to share with friends, family and supporters. This 6-hour endurance trail run will test your resolve, stamina and grit! Offering you the chance to keep pushing on for the next medal.
If you can complete the Ultra distance you will get all 5 medals. All 5 medals fit together to complete a final trophy disc.
The dedicated Runners Zone accessed from the course during the run means you can stop, rest, refuel and hydrate at any time. In the Runners Zone you can safely store your kit meet support crew and team members, relax and go again. Gazebos and tents are allowed. 1 per person or team.
This event will require you to bring fuel and hydration for the duration of the event. You will be allocated a dedicated area to set up your kit in the Runners Zone. Toilets will be supplied! If COVID Restrictions allow we will also have hot food and entertainment for family and friends. We're working hard to reduce, reuse and recycle.
Set in 250 acres of beautiful Suffolk parkland. Haughley Park is a privately-owned country estate surrounded by ancient woodlands with excellent trails and a stunning Jacobean manor house at its heart.

Lap event. Course distance 5.27KM
High quality trails within ancient woodlands, open parkland and forest.
6 Hour Endurance Run
Solo or Relay Teams - Pairs, teams of 3,4 and 5+
Relay Team runners can run any number of laps, however only one team member on the course at any one time.
Runners Zone for refueling and hydration. Only accessed by runners support crew and team members

Key Information
EVENT REGISTRATION
At registration you will be issued with your race number and timing tag.
Please bring the confirmation email and QR Code with you. We will require this to issue you a race bib.
All race packets will be made up a week before the event and front line staff will be wearing masks.
Your race number must be displayed clearly on your front, for the duration of the race. Please bring safety pins as we can not supply these.
Your timing tag will be attached to your race number.
TRANSFERS
Transfers can be done through your active account. Transfers are free and need to be completed 5 days prior to race day.
MERCHADISE
We will have some T-shirts that will be available for purchase on the day £15.00 If you have purchased a T-shirt online you will need to collect this on the day.
KEY DROP
There will be no key drop as advised due to C-19, however you you will be able to store kit in the Runners Zone, which will be marshalled.
MEDICS
There will be a professional medical team on site. The medical positions will be appropriately marked.
EVENT BREIFING
A briefing will take place at 9.50am near the start/finish line.
All competitors must attend. Any queries about the event must be raised at this time with the Event Director.
RULES
This race is organised by WR Events Limited trading, as Inspire Races. None of its staff, sponsors, suppliers or agents will be liable for any injury, loss or expense which may arise as a consequence of your participation in this event.
Entry to this race is personal to each applicant and once issued, race numbers may not be sold or transferred unless through the active online registration software.
Any runner who passes their race number to another runner is liable for sanctions and any runner who competes while wearing another runner’s race number will be disqualified and is liable for sanctions.
Once you have paid for your entry there can be no refund if you are subsequently unable to take part in this race. However, you may defer your place to next year’s race, this needs to be done before 5 days prior to the event, Please contact [email protected] for more information.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel applications, including duplicate applications, or alter the date of the event, the course route or distance. Entrants to this race undertake not to take part unless they are medically fit to run the distance.
All runners are required to complete the contact and medical details on the back of their race number. This is a requirement of participation and may be checked by race officials prior to the start.
Race numbers must be pinned securely to the front of your running top using a safety pin in each corner.
Timing chips much be secured firmly to the laces of one of your running shoes using the ties provided by us on race day.
Race marshals and medical team members have the authority to disqualify and remove any runner they consider to be acting dangerously, or to be unfit to compete.
Runners are required to report any casualties immediately to the nearest first aid post or race marshal.
In the event of any dispute the decision of the Race Referee shall be final.
EVENT DETAILS
The course is a 5.27k course with good solid tracks tracks finishes in the start field.
The course will be well signed with highly visible arrows and marshalled.
You will be required to to be self sufficient for the duration of the event. We will not supplying any refreshments or water.
You will be a 2 metre squared area off the side of the course where you can place a tub or a small tent for your necessary items.
Your area will be marked with a number that corresponds to your bib.
The race map will be available from the Inspire Races website two weeks prior to the race
This is a trail event and as such the terrain will be uneven, and could contain hazards such as tree roots, fallen branches etc.
The route is all on private estate land and we therefore ask you to refrain from dropping any litter.
Please make sure you are prepared for the weather.
All finishers will receive a medal!
We may record your race number at various points along the route so please keep it visible on your front and shout it out if asked.
Marshals will be situated along the route and will summon first aid if required.
Please let a marshal or race official know if you decide to withdraw from the event at any point after registering on the day.
Please treat all marshals, race officials, organisers, volunteers and other competitors with respect and follow their instructions.
Spectators are not advised to attend.
RESULTS
Full results will available at www.chiptiminguk.co.uk shortly after the event and will be published on the event website as soon as possible following the event.
PRIZES
We will have no prizes as we are advised not to have presentations due to C-19 restrictions.
