The event is very well organised with attention to detail, I raced the middle distance.
The swim is in Swansea bay and both times I have raced have been well marshalled with plenty of paddle boarders at hand to help if needed.
The ride is brutal, not for the faint hearted and can be a bit technical at times and also open road so be prepared to stop at junctions if needed, be respectful and the notion is generally returned. You are required to complete 3 laps of the course.
The run is nice and flat along the seafront so is welcomed after the ride.
All in all a great triathlon, well marshalled and supported the most challenging part by far is the bike so be prepared for over 4k of climbin. The second time I competed I suffered a broken chain link on my second lap of the bike so suffered a DNF but I was well supported and recovered back to transition within 30 minutes by the race organiser Scott.
All in all a challenging bike but one for the bucket list if you like a challenge.

Well organised event in great location. All went very smoothly. I appreciated being able to change distance at registration without an additional charge.
