Organiser's Description

Cyclo-cross racing is fast and furious. It’s fun for all ages and easily accessible. The format sits between off-road cycling and mountain biking. Cyclo-cross is very family friendly and renowned for having an informal atmosphere, with events catering for men and women, boys and girls, with a range of race durations and age categories, from under 9s and youth races, to junior, senior, and veterans races. A cyclo-cross course includes a variety of surfaces such as grass, mud, sand, gravel and tarmac, and often loops around with tight twisting turns.
