Newcastle 10k on Saturday 17th January 2026
Start Time
9:00 am - A race – sub 40 minute
9:20 am - B race – 40 min+
We are excited to bring to you for the second time running, the Newcastle 10k, in partnership with Tyne Bridge Harriers.
This ROAD CLOSED courses take in the famous landmarks of the Newcastle Quayside passing the Swing Bridge and under High Level Bridge, Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, King Edward VII Bridge & Redheugh Bridge, before returning the same way.
This is an extremely fast, flat course that boasts real PB potential, whilst being accessible to beginners to kick start the year!
The race will be split into 2 waves with Sub 40minute runners starting at 9:00 for an elite race (won in 29.29 in 2024), shortly followed by the mass B race at 9:20am.
Please enter the A or B race to suit the time you expect to run on the day.
**There is a 90 minute cut off due to road closures**

My first ever race. Brilliantly organised event, great fast route. Nice medal and snacks after, I'd definitely do it again
