With a start time of 9:00 AM, the race will be divided into two waves, accommodating both elite runners aiming for personal bests and beginners eager to kick off their year with an inspiring challenge. Sub 40-minute runners will take off first, followed by the mass B race at 9:25 AM. With a 90-minute cut-off due to road closures, this is the perfect opportunity to set a new personal record or simply enjoy a fantastic day of running in a vibrant community. SATURDAY 18TH JANUARY 2025
Start time: 9:00am
We are excited to bring to you for the second time running, the Newcastle 10k, in partnership with Tyne Bridge Harriers.
This ROAD CLOSED courses take in the famous landmarks of the Newcastle Quayside passing the Swing Bridge and under High Level Bridge, Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, King Edward VII Bridge & Redheugh Bridge, before returning the same way.
This is an extremely fast, flat course that boasts real PB potential, whilst being accessible to beginners to kick start the year!
The race will be split into 2 waves with Sub 40minute runners starting at 9:00 for an elite race (won in 29.29 in 2024), shortly followed by the mass B race at 9:25am.
Please enter the A or B race to suit the time you expect to run on the day.
