Taking place on Sunday 8th September 2019 in Grantham, Lincolnshire, this popular road race starts and finishes on the track inside the South Kesteven Sports Stadium. Runners will explore the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, including a scenic stretch along the Grantham to Nottingham Canal towpath, covering nearly 3 miles to Woolsthorpe by Belvoir. With a couple of challenging hills along the way, participants will be rewarded with a 'grandstand' finish back at the stadium. Don't miss out on this exciting event!
Organiser's Description
2019 marks 14th edition of this event, which is one of the County’s most popular road races. With a start and finish on the track inside the South Kesteven Sports Stadium,Trent Road, Grantham, the race heads out into the Lincolnshire countryside onto the Grantham to Nottingham Canal towpath for nearly 3 miles to Woolsthorpe by Belvoir, taking in a couple of testing hills along the way, before returning back into the stadium for a ‘grandstand’ finish.
