The Nine Edges Endurance gives you the choice of whether to hike, run, or climb this off-road route from Fairholmes to the Robin Hood pub near Baslow. Walkers and runners largely follow the same route but climbers climb a route of their choice on each of the nine gritstone edges.
It is a 20 mile off road event with about 900 metres of height gain, over some rough moorland - some navigational ability is required. Whilst the Nine Edges Endurance distance and terrain may be daunting, it is a fun and friendly day out and raises money for Edale Mountain Rescue.(Date tbc)
