North Devon AONB Marathon & Half Marathon

Woolacombe Bay, Devon

Woolacombe, North Devon

Sun 30th June 2019

Organiser's Description

This off-road event has quickly established itself as one of the most challenging and visually stunning in the UK. Race HQ is in the idyllic village of Woolacombe on Devon's North coast, overlooking one of the Country's most popular surfing beaches and right in the middle of the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (where the race gets its 'AONB' name from). The coastal route is tough, which is part of the appeal, and the scenery is incomparable; the marathon has 1031m climb - not for the feint-hearted!

2019 marks the 10th anniversary of this event which every year since its inception has sold out, often many months in advance.
