Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the Pi & Pasty Challenge - Day 2, hosted by Running Events Devon! Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 15th, 2026, as we take over the scenic route in Exmouth, Devon. This unique event welcomes participants of all abilities, whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting your fitness journey. With a flexible 'Turn Up Get Going' system, you can arrive anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM, giving you ample time to tackle our picturesque 5.3k out-and-back course along an old disused train line.
Challenge yourself to complete as many laps as you can within the 7-hour time limit, with options to finish anywhere from 1 to 14 laps! Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a medal, celebrating your achievement regardless of the distance. But don't wait too long to sign up – places are limited, and if you enter after March 6th, we can't guarantee your choice of pasty or pie! Join us for a day filled with camaraderie, fresh air, and delicious treats, and let's make some unforgettable memories together!

Running Events Devon would like to invite you to come and run with us.
Our Pasty & Pie event day 2 is being held on the 15th March 2026.
We are operating our 'TUGG' system as in Turn Up Get Going, you can turn up any time between 7:30 and 14:30 BUT you have to be finished by 15:30.
Just to note if entering late after Friday 06th March 2026, we cannot guarantee your choice of Pasty or pie as we need to order them.
Absolutely all abilities of runners / walkers can take part in our events as you have 7 hours to get to the finish of your final lap, each lap is 5.3k out and back, of our scenic route on an old disused train line.
Everyone is welcome whether you are planning to walk or run, whether you finish 1 lap, 4 laps or even 14 laps in the permitted time, we would class you as finisher and a winner, and you can collect a Medal for the event this will be a choice of the medals we have.
Please come and have a try and see how far you can go.

A great little race, very well organised and a nice course, 8 laps seems psychologically very achievable. Very low-key, the marathon only had 15 people, who'd have thought that I'd finish 9th in a marathon!
And the medal, definitely the best I've ever had, not only is it well designed and chunky, it spins!!!

I was a 10k race virgin attending this event and was very surprised with a warm welcome and a lot of encouragement from fellow runners. A well organised event with clear marked path and a finishing time handed with medal on completion. Asked before taking photos and respected boundaries. Tim and Jenny truly lovely people and I will return.
