Join us for the exhilarating Pheasant Challenge Day 2, hosted by Running Events Devon, on Sunday, June 14th, 2026, in the picturesque location of Okehampton, Devon! This exciting event welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities to take part in a unique challenge along a scenic 5.3k out-and-back route on an old disused train line. With our 'TUGG' system—Turn Up Get Going—you can join us anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM, giving you a full 7 hours to complete as many laps as you can, with a cutoff time of 3:30 PM. Whether you finish just one lap or push yourself to complete 14, every participant is a finisher and will receive a stunning medal to commemorate their achievement.
Spaces for this fantastic event are limited, so be sure to secure your spot early to avoid disappointment. If you reach capacity, don’t worry—those who register late will still receive a bespoke medal of their choice from our selection! Running Events Devon would like to invite you to come and run with us.
At our new venue, the Pheasant Challenge Day 2 event is being held on the Sunday 14th June 2026
We are operating our 'TUGG' system as in Turn Up Get Going, you can turn up any time between 7:30 and 14:30 BUT you have to be finished by 15:30.
Absolutely all abilities of runners / walkers can take part in our events as you have 7 hours to get to the finish of your final lap, each lap is 5.3k out and back, of our scenic route on an old disused train line.
Everyone is welcome whether you are planning to walk or run, whether you finish 1 lap, 4 laps or even 14 laps in the permitted time, we would class you as finisher and a winner, and you can collect your Medal for the event.
Please come and have a try and see how far you can go.
Places are strictly limited so please do not leave it too late to enter, if and when we reach capacity anyone entering after, will get a bespoke medal of their choice of the ones that we have with us on that day.
