Join us for the Plym Valley Challenge on Sunday, June 11th, 2017, in the picturesque city of Plymouth. This exciting event features a scenic seven-mile race that begins at Tor Bridge High in Estover and meanders through the stunning Plym Bridge woods. Runners will enjoy the unique experience of following old tram and logging tracks, making their way to Hatshill Wood, nestled below Bickleigh Village. The route includes navigating two disused rail bridges and running alongside the tranquil river valley before crossing Plym Bridge. Participants will then ascend back into the woods, culminating in a rewarding finish at Tor Bridge High. Organiser's Description
Seven country miles which start from Tor Bridge High, Estover, into the beautiful Plym Bridge woods. You will follow old tram tracks and logging tracks out to Hatshill Wood, below Bickleigh Village, then return along the river valley, navigating two disused rail bridges. You will then run along the old canal before crossing Plym Bridge back into the woods, up the hill and back to Tor Bridge High. (dte tbc)
