the cause

This year the Purity Brewing Co Sportive will be in aid of Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund. Some of you may know that Purity Brewing Co's co founder James MInkin lost his battle to pancreatic cancer in June 2020. To celebrate the life of Jim, Letsgovelo and Purity have decided that the Purity Brewing Co Sportive will be in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Reseach Fund. We have designed a special edition charity shirt (20% of sales going to the charity) as well as 5% of the entry sales going to the charity. We would also encourage all entrants to fundraise in some way for this great cause.

You can set your Just Giving fundraising page below

Really good event, good atmosphere and well signposted route. Quite an easy route; relatively flat but still very enjoyable and rewarding. Only downside… no medal! But there was a can of beer to finish.

Ok this was a really well put together sportive. The route was so clearly signed and really pleasant, it's a great time of year to be riding, there was plenty of parking. All really well organised and zero stress. The refreshment stops were well placed and really obvious, the route split for the longer and shorter rides was very clear. I can't fault the route one bit, I loved it. My only note is, it would be nice to have a medal at the end, I know that was never promised but it might be a good addition next year at the end, and also the "vegan options" that were promised at the BBQ at the end were dismal, you can definitely do better there it's 2022 :-P But still loved it and 5 stars from me! Thanks for a great day out.

Brilliant - great parking, great route, perfect signposting - and beer! Couldn't ask for more - Did three brewery rides this year, will certainly do more in 2023 :-)
