How to Get There

There are a number of buses that service the Beach Ballroom and Pittodrie Stadium, both of which are approximately 5 minute walks from the start line. Visit travelinescotland.com for help with planning your journey.

Parking will be available at Pittodrie Stadium, less than 5 minutes walk from the main event area in Kings Links. Follow directions from stewards and signage on the day.

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

Course Details

The 5k route will take you out and back along the Esplanade, taking in the scenic views of Aberdeen Beach and the North Sea. The majority of the course is on road so the terrain is predominantly flat, with the exception of a slight hill at the start and a grass slope to the finish line. A course map will be available on the day in the 'Can we help?' tent in the event area.

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

Further Information

This event is suitable for wheelchair users throughout the majority of the course, however assistance may be required on the grass on the main event site if the weather is wet. There is a slight incline on the road at the start of the course and a decline at the end of the course on the grass.
