Organiser's Description

The 5k is an achievable distance and a good first challenge for most people. At just over 3 miles it can take about an hour to walk on average, but there's no pressure to finish in a certain time. Go at your own pace to help fund life-saving cancer research.

Public transport and pedestrians: Pedestrians: The venue is a short 10 minute walk from the town centre or across the water from Tarka Leisure Centre (via Rock Park Iron Bridge). Train: The nearest train station is Barnstaple Station, which is roughly a 15 minute walk away from the venue, or a quick taxi ride. Cycling & Bike Racks: There are none available at this event.
