Course Details

The Bath Race for Life 10k route starts on Royal Victoria Park. It follows Royal Avenue all the way down to Queens Parade Place where participants will turn around and head back along Royal Avenue. The route goes onto the grass area in front of the Royal Crescent and then down onto Cow Lane, before following Royal Avenue back to the finish line.

The 10k course is two laps of the 5k route.

The terrain is varied but mostly on paved paths with some grass areas and a some mild incline area's along some sections of the route.

Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Further Information

The majority of the route is on tarmac roads and pathways. However, there is a reasonably steep short hill section on Cow Lane next to the allotments and a gentle incline around Royal Victoria Park so wheelchair users may require assistance. Disabled/ accessibility parking available in Charlotte Street Car Park, Bath. There is no allocated drop of point for the event but we would suggest the Weston Road side of Royal Victoria Park to avoid the event road closures.
