Organiser's Description

Looking for more of a challenge without any pressure? Race for Life 10k is for you! Our 10k events are now chip-timed, so you can find out if you’ve beaten your personal best – while you’re raising funds to help beat cancer. 10k is just over 6 miles. Take it at your own pace or push yourself a little more. Have fun with it and enjoy the atmosphere.

How to Get There

Pedestrians: Please access the event site via the Visitors Centre Entrance and go through the car park. You will see the main event site straight ahead.

General Event Parking: FOC event parking is accessed via the Cricket Ground entrance off Weald Road, CM14 5QJ. Please do not enter or park in the Visitor Centre car park as parking charges will apply and you will be directed to the designated car park by stewards.

Blue Badge Parking: Blue badge parking is available in the Visitors Centre Car Park, CM14 5QS which is located opposite the event site. Please note that this is separate from the designated participant/ spectator parking area.

Drop Offs: Visitor Centre Car Park.

Public Transport:-

Bus: First Bus operate a service to Weald Country Park – see timetables at

Train: Closest train station is Brentwood which is approximately 2.5 miles away.

Electric Charging points: There are no charging points at the venue, the closest stations are Osprey Charging station - 2.3 miles and BP Pulse - 8.3 miles

Cycling Bike Racks: - there is none at the venue but there are some bike railings by the Visitor Centre that can be used.

Further Information

This undulating, cross-country route is mostly on grass and woodland trails with steep inclines and is quite challenging. It is not suitable for wheelchair users.

If you require any further information on the accessibility of a Race for Life event, wish to bring a carer/assistant to accompany you or need to bring a guide runner, please contact our Supporter Hotline on 0300 123 0770 and press 1 when prompted (Opening hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday) or email us at [email protected].

If you feel you might need extra help at the event pleasepick up a badge at the Blue Enquires Marquee so that our crew and volunteers can look out for you and check you are OK.

Meeting Point Information

The start line is located on Belvederd Field, opposite the Visitors Centre Car Park. If using what 3 words, enter<a href="///star.react.fleet">///star.react.fleet</a>in the free app, to find the exact starting point.

The finish line is located opposite the start line on Belvedere Field.
