How to Get There

Meridian Showground is on Kings Road, Cleethorpes, DN35 0AR.

There is no designated event parking available at the venue, but Pay and Display car parks can be found along Kings Road, about a 5-10 minute walk. Please note that Lakeside Car Park will have a slightly reduced number of spaces available on the event day. Meridian Car Park will be closed before and for the duration of the event. Please allow sufficient time to find parking and to walk to the venue.

Limited disabled parking is available at Lakeside Car Park. The route to and from the venue is suitable for wheelchair users.

If you are travelling by public transport the nearest bus stop is Meridian Road which is a 3 min walk away.

Course Details

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

The route begins within Meridian Showground and finishes within the showground also. This course is a single 5k lap and a double 10k lap, each route goes along the main promonade, circling the back of the boating lake heading towards the Leisure Centre and back up. Participants will exit the showground and proceed down Meridian Road, due to some of the course being on grass, it may be slightly muddy underfoot depending on weather conditions.

Further Information

We would recommend that this event is wheelchair accessible with assistance, however the distance is considerable. We have shorter 5K and 3K routes available on the same day. Some parts of the route involve going onto grass, a short cut is available if required. The route is mostly flat with one incline that is 5m long as you come around Cleethorpes Leisure Centre.

The venue is largely accessible with flat grass and tarmac paths surrounding. Limited disabled parking is available at Lakeside Car Park. The route to and from the venue is suitable for wheelchair users.
