Race for Life Gateshead 5k

By car:

General Event Parking: There is limited onsite parking at this event. Cancer Research UK and Gateshead Council encourage the use of public transport and bicycle to travel to this event. We can facilitate bike storage at this event but you must bring a lock.



Carparks are available at the following Gateshead Council facilities:



Cross Keys NE9 6DA and Lowrey's Lane NE9 5JB. These car parks are free on a Sunday and cars are parked at their own risk as per Gateshead Council parking Ts&Cs. The car parks are open to the public.



The event site is only a 13 min walk from the car parks.



Please do not park in nearby residential streets as enforcment teams will be patrolling the area.

Train: The closest Metro is Gateshead which is a 40 minute walk away.

Cycling & Bike Racks: We can facilitate bike storage at this event but you must bring a lock.

The start and finish lines are located on the Northern Fields near the children's play area and the lake.
