Organiser's Description

The 5k is an achievable distance and a good first challenge for most people. At just over 3 miles it can take about an hour to walk on average, but there's no pressure to finish in a certain time. Go at your own pace to help fund life-saving cancer research.

How to Get There

By car: General Event Parking: There is no parking for participants in Gloucester Park. We advise you to use Gloucester Quays as a car park for this event as there are road closures which restrict the access of car parks within the city centre. Please be aware there will be road closures in place from 8am so make sure you leave time to access the area. Drop Offs: The closest entrance to the event site for pedestrians on foot is the entrance from Spa Road and Albion Street. Please take into account road closures when arranging drop offs and collections. Blue Badge Parking: Please be aware that there is no blue badge parking at Gloucester Park. There are blue badge spaces in Gloucester Quays car park (Southgate Street) which is approximately 600m from the start/finish. Volunteer Parking: There is no parking for volunteers in Gloucester Park. We advise you to use Gloucester Quays as a car park for this event as there are road closures which restrict the access of car parks within the city centre. Please be aware there will be road closures in place from 8am so make sure you leave time to access the area. Electric Charging points: There are none available at this event. Public transport and pedestrians: Pedestrians: The closest entrance to the event site for pedestrians on foot is the entrance from Spa Road and Albion Street. Bus: The nearest bus stop is 'The Park' which is just outside one of the entrances to the park. Train: The nearest train station is in the city centre and is a 10 minute walk from Gloucester Park.
