How to Get There

There is no designated Race for Life participant car park, but the Harlow Town Park is within walking distance of the town centre car parks and the car park at Harlow Town Railway Station.

The nearest car parks can be found at: http://www.harlow.gov.uk/carpark-townpark and the nearest rail station is Harlow Town

Course Details

This course is mainly on tarmac pathways through the park with a small amount on grass. It starts on the Showground, makes the most of some of the lovely wide walk ways surrounding the park and takes in many of the beautiful tree-lined paths within the park - these trees are usually in blossom when Race for Life takes place and it is stunning. It finishes back in the Showground.

The 10k covers mainly two laps of the 5k course, going back into the showground inbetween laps - which is great for that half way encouragement from the spectators in the showground.

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

There will be a water refill station at approx. 5km and at the finish, but please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle as we will not have any plastic bottles at the event.

Further Information

With some undulating paths, we advise that this is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance as there are two large inclines located near School Lane in addition to some undulating paths throughout the route.

If you require any further information on the accessibility of a Race for Life event, or wish to bring a carer/helper to accompany you, please contact our Supporter Hotline on 0300 123 0770 and press 1 when prompted (opening hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday) or email us at [email protected]

Meeting Point Information

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

The meeting point and start line is within the park of Town Fields, on the playing fields behind the Pavillion. The finish line will also be within the similar vacinity.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
