10k is a great step up from our 5k events, that's still achievable for everyone. Join a Race for Life 10k event and help raise valuable funds for cancer-beating research.

How to Get There

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

We will provide free parking in the sports field on Wilford Grove. Please DO NOT park along Victoria Embankment, as this forms part of the course, and you will not be able to remove your vehicle until the race is complete.
The nearest station is Nottingham, which is a 25 minute walk to the event.
There are also many bus routes passing Victoria Embankment.

Course Details

The Nottingham Victoria Embankment route is on the historic Victoria Embankment, which is just a stone’s throw away from the city centre. With its picturesque setting beside the River Trent, participants will enjoy the flat route with a mixture of terrains, perfect for all abilities to walk, jog or run. The 10k is a double lap of the 5k route.

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Meeting Point Information

The start line is located in front of the main ring within Lincolnshire Showground. This will be clearly visible as you exit the event car park.

Event Day Information

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
