Race for Life Poole 10k
Sat 3rd June 2023
How to Get There
Baiter Park is a short walk from the town centre and a 15 minute walk from Poole train station.
The 10k is a double lap of the 5k route.
Starting in Baiter Park, the Poole 10k heads out looping around Poole Park, going under the railway line and entering Whitecliff Recreational Ground, and Harbourside Park before rejoining the course near the start for a 2nd lap. At the end of the second lap the course then finishes back in Baiter Park.
Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
The Poole course begins on Baiter Park with a short incline on grass, a gravel path and through a field where the grass is trodden down to make a track. The route follows the road through Poole Park and around the lake into Whitecliff Harbourside Park. From there the route is on well cut grass until the finish line.
Due to these elements the route is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance. There is no disabled / accessibility parking on site.
There is disabled / accessibility parking available in Harbourside Car parks and this space would be suitable for drop offs too.
