Organiser's Description

Climb, crawl and slide your way around the Pretty Muddy® obstacle course at your own pace. 5k is just over 3 miles and can take about an hour to complete on average, but there's no pressure to finish in a certain time – it's all designed for fun! Get muddy as an individual or with a group of friends or family, act like a big kid and raise money for life-saving cancer research.

How to Get There

Parking is available on site free of charge for participants. There is capacity for approximately 400 cars on site. If the venue carpark is full, plase use the Time Square carpark which is 1 mile from the event venue, the postcode for this is WA1 2HN. We also hope to secure an additional overflow carpark nearer to the venue. If this is secured, the stewards will direct you to that carpark on the day.



The following buses run directly outside Victoria Park: 1 (Bruche), 1C, 1E (Westy), 11, 11A (Wilderspool), 47 (High Legh) 47 (Howley)



Warrington Train Station is approx. 25-minute walk from Victoria Park

Due to the nature of the event it is not suitable for wheelchair users. The event site is in the middle of grass playing fields, and in wet weather it could be difficult for spectators to access the start / finish lines. In dry weather, the site is accessible. Blue badge parking and disabled portaloos are provided



Due to the nature of the obstacles, this event is not suitable for wheelchair users.Pretty Muddy could be considered unsuitable for participants with a physical disability due to the nature of the obstacles. Photos of our obstacles can be found on the Pretty

Meeting Point Information

The event site is located in the centre of Victoria Park, next to the new fenced football pitches. There are lots of public entrances into the park, but once inside the event site is easy to find.

The start and finish line are separate, but both are contained within the event site. Please note that theremay be participants on the course when you arrive, so please take care when walking along or crossing any paths.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.



Do to the nature of this event - no dogs are allowed.



If you feel you might need extra help at the event please do pick up a special badge at the Blue Enquires Marquee so that our crew and volunteers can look out for you.
