10k is a great step up from our 5k events, that's still achievable for everyone. Join a Race for Life 10k event and help raise valuable funds for cancer-beating research.

How to Get There

There will be no event car parking for this event due to its location.

We recommend car sharing and using public transport to get yourself to and from the event.

Pitchcroft car park has limited space and we recommend to use alternative alreas to avoid disappointment. This is the main entrance/exit for emergency services and suppliers and we want to avoid congestion at all times.

Public Transport

Worcester Bus station is 0.4 Miles away

Course Details

The Worcester 10k Race for Life course begins in the middle of the racecourse, circles the inside of the race track and then joins the path along the outside perimeter of the race track and the river. It then passes the grandstand and heads back towards the finish.

The 10k route is a double lap of the 5k.

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Further Information

This event is deemed suitable for wheelchairs with assistance. Assistance is required due to the nature of the terrain. The event site and part of the course are on grass and this can become boggy in to poor weather conditions. there are some uneven paths, however most are relatively flat.

There is blue badge holder parking available in Croft Road Car Park. The event site is approximately 500m from this car park.

Meeting Point Information

The start line is at the top of the field (between Abington Park Crescent and Park Avenue South) alongside the event car park.

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
